本年より始動したgekilin.との共同プロジェクトとしてこの度

3名の韓国人アーティストの展示会を開催する運びとなりました。

我々はアートを通じて韓・日のリアルな現代性、精神性、表現性を平和的にそして友好的に提示して参ります。

そこから様々な表層と深層を理解し合い、希望のある未来へと進んでいくことを望んでいます。

Gallery TY is a Korean contemporary art gallery.

As a joint project started this year, we will hold an exhibition of three Korean artists at gekilin.

Through art, we will present the real modernity, spirituality and expressiveness of Korea and Japan peacefully and friendlyly.

From there, I hope to understand the various layers and depths and move on to a hopeful future.

Gallery TYは韓国のギャラリーで、主に現代アートを扱っています。

大阪の現代アートギャラリーgekilinでのこの展示を通して、3人のアーティストとその作品を紹介します。

彼らは、ポケベルを使用していた時代から今日のインターネットやスマートフォンに至るまで、多くの開発と発展を経験してきた世代です。続く科学や社会の発展と変化に、自分たちの生活の形は絶えず変化してそして適応しなければなりません。

しかしそれとはまた別のベクトルから彼らは自身の自我を探求し、

「私たちはどこから来て、どんな世界に住んでいるのか」

を独自の方法で表現することに集中しています。

彼らはただ現在にとどまり、世界を受け入れ、新しいことに挑戦し、そして最善を尽くします。

この展示会は、そんなアーティストの作品で構成されております。それは世界をコントロールするのではなく、自然であることに逆らわずに穏やかな和解と調和の中で、自分の姿をそっと組み込もうとする姿勢と態度です。

そして、鑑賞者はそれぞれの視点から人間と世界の関係に対する彼らのユニークな視線を感じるかもしれません。

彼らの人生の歴史の中で、作品に対する真剣な態度と途方もない熱意を持って、それは「現在の進歩的（-ing）」の形で記録されています。

Gallery TY는 주로 현대미술을 다루는 한국의 갤러리입니다.

 오사카의 현대미술 갤러리 gekilin.에서의 이번 전시를 통해 3명의 아티스트를 구성하여 소개합니다.

 이 3명의 아티스트들은 삐삐(무선호출기)를 사용하던 시절부터 현재 인터넷이나 스마트폰을 사용하는 세대에 이르기까지 여러 방면의 발전을 겪은 세대입니다. 계속되는 과학이나 사회의 발전/변화에 그들의 삶의 형태가 끊임없이 변화하고 적응해야함에도 이들은 특히 “우리가 어디에서부터 시작하였고 어떤 세상을 살아가고 있는지”를 각자의 방법으로 자아에 대해서 고민하고, 표현하는 데에 집중합니다. 이들은 그저 현재에 머물며 변화하는 세상을 받아들이고 새로운 것에 도전하고, 그리고 최선을 다합니다.

 이번 전시는 세상을 지배하지 않고 있는 그대로 품으려는 3명 작가의 시선과 태도, 자연을 거스르지 않고 화해와 조화로움 안에서 자신의 모습을 살며시 넣으려는 작업들로 구성되었다. 그 안에서도 세상과 인간의 관계를 저마다 다른 생각으로 풀어내는 작가들의 개성 있는 시선들을 이번 전시에서 느낄 수 있다. 그들의 삶의 역사에서, 그들은 작품에 대한 진지한 자세와 엄청난 열정으로 늘 현재에 집중하는 “현재진행형”의 형태로 기록될 것입니다.

Gallery TY is a gallery in Korea that deals mainly with contemporary art.

 Through this exhibition at the contemporary art gallery gekilin. in Osaka, we introduce three artists and their artworks.

 These three artists are people who have experienced through a lot of development, from the days when they used beepers to today's Internet and smartphones. As science or society continues to evolve/change, their lives should have be constantly adapted, but they just concentrate on searching their ego and expressing in their own ways "where are we from and what world we live in." They just keep on staying in the present, accepting the world, challenging something new and doing their best.

 This exhibition is made up of these artists’ works, fully presenting their views and attitudes which gently incorporate themselves into peace and harmony of world, not controlling it. Nonetheless, you may feel each artist’s unique view towards the relationships between human and world from their own perspectives. In the history of their lives, they will be recorded in the form of “present progressive(-ing)” with the serious attitude and tremendous enthusiasm for their works.
